Berry Smoothie Bowl

Smoothie bowls are a delicious (and beautiful!) way to get an antioxidant-packed breakfast or snack. The best part is you can use your favorite fruits, veggies, nuts and seeds you already have on hand.

Servings: 2-3
Ingredients:
​
Bowl:

2 cups frozen mixed berries
-
1 large, ripe frozen banana
-
2 handfuls leafy greens, such as spinach, arugula, mint, parsley

1/3 cup milk of your choice
-
Optional: 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
Toppings:
-
Nuts: walnuts, pecans, cashews, etc

Seeds: chia, flax, hemp, pumpkin, sunflower, etc

Dried fruit: mango, goji berries, cranberries, raisins, coconut flake, etc

Fresh fruit: berries, kiwi ,mango, banana, pineapple, etc

Directions:

Add berries, banana, leafy greens and milk to a high powered blender set to low speed. Scrape down sides as necessary.

Blend until it is the consistency of soft serve ice cream.

Optional: Add protein powder and blend on low until combined.

Divide into bowls and "decorate" with toppings.
