Jennifer Josey, RD
Clinical Dietitian, Nova Scotia Health
For those of you who don’t know me – I’m Jenn. I grew up on the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia and continue to live there today! I graduated from Acadia University in 2015 and completed the graduate dietetic internship program at Nova Scotia Health in Halifax. Since then, I’ve worked in various roles and met many amazing people. Currently, you can find me at the Nova Scotia Rehabilitation and Arthritis Centre where I work with a team of extremely kind and dedicated staff and physicians in several ambulatory clinics. I also spend a couple of days each week at a small hospital and nursing home in beautiful Middle Musquodoboit. In my spare time, and in times when I should be doing other things, I enjoy gardening, gardening, and gardening some more.
If you weren't a dietitian, what would you be?
A farmer!

What do you love most about your job?
The people hands down; from the patients and families that I care for, to the amazing folks I work with. I think you’d be hard-pressed to find a healthcare worker who would give a different answer.

I feel happiest when...
I am sun-kissed and covered in dirt.
