What's the biggest challenge you have faced in your career?

Since leaving Canada in 2013, I have lived in Czech Republic and now in Serbia. Living abroad is fun but comes with challenges, especially if you're passionate about what you do and want to continue to grow professionally.

When I left Canada in 2013 with a suitcase and my Nutrition Degree under my arm, I had no idea what adventures were in store.

But one thing I felt pretty confident about was that move would either be career suicide or the best decision I ever made!

Thankfully, it turned out to be an amazing decision.

This experience has pushed me to step out of my comfort zone over and over again, sometimes surprising even myself at what's possible if you're willing to lean in.

Of course, I have experienced frustrations and setbacks along the way, but I am happy to say I now run a thriving private practice that allows me to do what I love and work from anywhere.

Proudest moment of my career?

Becoming a Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor has been my proudest career achievement. This certification brought tremendous personal and professional growth, for which I am grateful.

Where is your favourite place in Nova Scotia?

My favourite place to visit in Nova Scotia is the Gypsum Mine Trail in Cape Breton. If you haven't been, you need to put it on your bucket list (and don’t forget your swimsuit!)
