READ AND LEARN:

Wow, September has been a highly charged month with climate strikes, led by the outstanding young Greta Thunberg. The federal election is only a few weeks away, and given the continued dire reports from the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, concerned citizens want to vote for candidates and parties that are prioritizing the climate in their election platforms. A group from Dalhousie university have created EnviroVote Canada, a resource that may help you understand which parties are addressing the current, science-based issues identified by the UN panel. We can’t have healthy, sustainable, affordable food if we are not dealing with the current climate crisis. Make your vote count!
