Eat, Read, Learn!
The links below do not necessarily reflect the ideas/beliefs of the DNNS. They are topics of interest to dietitians who work with the public and want to learn more.
DNNS has decided to change up the name of The Latest Buzz to “Eat, Read, Learn” – catchy title, isn’t it! I don’t know how we came up with it – we’re just creative like that!! Eat, Read, Learn will be a collection of recommended books, courses, recipe blogs, journal articles, webinars, and much more! If you have a blog, book or online course that you would like to share with your fellow network members, please send the link to me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Eat: This is one of the first cooking / recipe blogs that I started following about 10 years ago. Heidi Swanson is a photographer and her food photographs will inspire you …and make you hungry! https://www.101cookbooks.com
Read: The book: Gut is a remarkably fun, yet scientific read about the functioning of our digestive system with quirky illustrations too! The author also has a TED talk: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0795B7M79/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?_encoding=UTF8&btkr=1 https://www.ted.com/talks/giulia_enders_the_surprisingly_charming_science_of_our_gut
Learn: Today’s Dietitian offers a wide range of short online courses, live and recorded webinars – I have done a few of their courses and found them to be very straightforward, concise and well researched. https://ce.todaysdietitian.com
