I had a wonderful dietetic intern with me this week! She talked about chocolate hummus! What a great idea for a healthy dessert or snack! Here is a recipe with lots of antioxidant rich cocoa in it.

An easy read from Chatelaine about Low Carb High Fat diets.

It can be hard to keep up with all of the fad diets and trends out there today! Agreed?! I enjoyed this article starring Canadian Dietitian Andrea D’Ambrosio on fad diets.

I recently had the opportunity to speak at an arthritis conference in Halifax – here are two articles that I referenced. Note in the second article the reference to dietitians: “One would argue that addressing nutrition in our patients is not the ‘job’ of a rheumatologist, but instead of a dietician.” ………….YES, one would!!!
