Happy Nutrition Month! This year’s theme is Healthy Eating is ‘So Much More than Food.’ There are so many fabulous resources available all month. Check out this year’s Nutrition Month Recipe e-book. These recipes are also on the Cookspiration App.

For students, check out Nourish NS healthy eating art contest! Engage the power of art to highlight healthy food at school - from breakfast programs and school food gardens to your own lunch box. The winner will be featured on future Nourish NS campaigns, and receive a $50 gift card for art supplies!

Are you looking for youth-focused healthy living resources? We’ve just heard about Meant2Prevent, a new resource by Canada’s Children’s Hospitals.

Meant2Prevent is a web portal for healthcare professionals and families to locate trusted information on youth-focused healthy living topics including:

· Nutrition and Recipes

· Physical activity

· Mental health

· Sleep

· Obesity and type 2 diabetes.

Healthcare professionals can use Meant2Prevent to locate clinical practice guidelines and resources, or can refer their patients to the family portion of the site to find trusted resources on these healthy living topics.
