Eat:
What day is it? How many weeks have we been #StayingTheBlazesHome?! I think it’s nearly the end of week 7.
Experts tell us that having a routine of exercise, fresh air, and healthy eating is important for managing our health during this challenging time. Many have been back in the kitchen, trying and sharing recipes new and old. If you have ‘hit the wall’ with meal prep, here is a little fresh inspiration from PEI chef and caterer, Jen McKenna.
She shares how to get the most bang for your buck while grocery shopping during a pandemic. And I love the reminder to shop your fridge and pantry before heading to the grocery store. Maybe one night’s supper could be a medley of leftovers that have been accumulating in the freezer! If you are feeling adventurous, try the shakshuka recipe she included- it looks amazing!
